The success of A+ Denver depends on our members and our friends. A+ Denver members are nominated and invited to join the organization by our Board of Directors. We seek members that are proven leaders in in our community, that will work with us to advocate for reforms necessary to dramatically increase student achievement in public education in Denver. Our members are leaders in a multitude of fields such as business, non-profit, and state and local government and we draw upon their skills and networks to support our mission.
Most members start out as friends of A+ Denver. Our friends subscribe to our newsletter and updates to stay in touch with our work. They also participate in events and meetings to learn about the current issues and help spread the word about the reforms needed in Denver Public Schools.
